We use that combination here at the APS on Red Hat. We have used the
same installation on RHEL 6.8, 6.9, 7.2 and 7.3, probably only on 64-bit
but I still have a 32-bit RHEL 6.9 box I can check it on if that helps.

We did have to install a compatibility RPM, pangox-compat to get it to
work on RHEL7.
