Hi Lin,

 

Ø  1. Are JCA and CAJ already obsolete? I ask because most documentations for them do not seem to be available anymore. Also, they are not moved to github like other active maintained projects.

 

A lot of application tools and services, including EPICS7, heavily rely on caj/jca, as of now it is certainly not obsolete J

 

As Ralph mentioned one of the agreements during the current epics core developers and cs-studio core developers meeting is to move jca and caj to github.

At the current EPICS Core Developers meeting it was decided to move the JCA/CAJ repositories to Git@GitHub, to make access and contributing easier. This will be done shortly.
