Small clarification...  Han is right though. In the default policy, the DESC field is not archived; it is only tracked at runtime. If you want to store this, you'll need to do as Han says and add it to the archiveFields in your policy.

If you use the default policies file, then we do track the DESC field. The DESC field shows up as a tooltip in various viewers; it is added as a meta field if you ask for it in the retrieval request.
