Hi all, 

at PSI SwissFEL we use Gude PDUs throughout the facility: https://www.gude.info/en/power-distribution/switched-metered-pdu/expert-power-control-1202-series.html 

EPICS device support is up and running and based on top of SNMP device support. For more info contact Tomaz Sustar ([email protected]) as he was working on it. IIRC the sources are not released to the public at the moment, but we can probably pull some strings to release it if you decide to go this way... 

There were quite some problems with Gudes not properly renewing DHCP addresses (leading to duplicated IP addresses in the network!) but this was in large part resolved... 

Not sure about the cord length though, as this was never an issue for us...

Hi All,

We are looking for alternative to APC switched PDUs as we would like to 
have cord longer than standard APC length of 12 feet.

I have checked the EPICS modules page and I have found several other 
options with existing support, but they all look a bit outdated (based 
on part numbers on the page and cross-referencing them with current 
vendor part numbers).

Are there other switched PDUs with EPICS support in use besides APC?
