Subject: support for Cryomech CP950 compressor (part of PT405 cryorefrigerator)

Dear tech-talk,

I have a PT405 Cryomech cryorefrigerator, which uses a Cryomech CP950 compressor connected via RS232.

I was wondering if anyone has an existing EPICS interface for this specific device.
I did see a Cryomech CP2800 module listed as supported by someone at STFC, who has given me an example IOC requiring extending stream device with support for SMPD converter (thanks Pete Owens), but if there is already support specifically for this device then that would be mighty handy.

Cheers,
