Hi Greg,

I've never seen that error message by itself. I have seen it when vxWorks did not have an NFS mount, and fell back to using netDrv instead. In that case, it also complained "write_it:S_netDrv_UNKNOWN_REQUEST"

Subject: Vxworks nfs write error?

Hi,

We are seeing an error on nfs write (autosave) for a particular Vxworks ioc. The error is:

save_restore:write_it: ioctl(,FIOSYNC,) returned -1

Vx info is as follows:

VxWorks (for Motorola MVME5500-0161 - MPC 7457) version 6.7.

Kernel: WIND version 2.12.

Host is RHELWS kernel 2.6.32-642.

Anyone have any ideas for solutions?
