Ibrahim, See the Alan’s comment below… Nino I do. We use both the DLPCA and the DHPCA from Femto at APS 7-BM. The way it is set up here, we just use the Unidig digital I/O card in the VME crate to drive the individual lines on the DB-25. We have the DB-25 and the output of the Unidig both hooked
up to screw terminal breakouts and just patched individual wires between them. There isn't anything special about the Unidig; I think any digital I/O capability would work. The EPICS support works nicely for these, though it is fairly simple; it is basically
just controlling the gain, coupling (AC vs. DC) and filtering. I don't believe changes to the bias or offset are incorporated. I hope this helps; feel free to forward this to Ibrahim. Alan From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]
On Behalf Of Ibrahim Saleh Dear All, I have a question regarding the FEMTO amplifier DLPCA-200. What is the recommended I/O card to connect the amplifier to it? The EPICS support for DLPCA-200, which is inside “std-3-1”, will it support that hardware? Best Regards, Ibrahim Saleh
