I quickly checked the code and found the following limitations: 1. The driver uses vxWorks functions instead of EPICS OSI functions.2. The configure function can only be called from the vxWorks shell, not from iocsh. 3. The Makefile uses the PSI build system and is not compatible with the standard EPICS build system. You would have to write your own Makefile. 4. Parts of the code are under copyright by Tews (basically ioctl, isr and init). Publishing it may be illegal. I don't know if the source was under some license. The original files are on a Floppy which I cannot read any more. At least the original Tews driver documentation explicitly forbids unauthorized reproduction of the documentation. The files themselves claim:
Copyright (c) 1996 Tews Datentechnik GmbHMaybe if you can convincingly assure that you have already a copy of the original Tews "TIP866 VxWorks Device Driver", I can give you my EPICS enabled version (basically a configure function which call some drvIpac and asyn functions).
