Dear folks,
softGlueZynq is a new synApps module that implements softGlue for the Xilinx Zynq chip, which has a processor that can run Linux, and an FPGA, on the same die.
ioczed is a new synApps module that runs an EPICS soft IOC, and a copy of softGlueZynq, on the MicroZed, which is a development board for the Zynq chip.
Both modules are available for download from github https://github.com/epics-modules/softGlueZynq
Here is the documentation:
In addition to being a softGlue port, softGlueZynq is intended as infrastructure to support custom beamline electronics. If you don't have time to read everything, and just want a quick sense of what that can mean in practice, scroll down to the pixelTrigger
demonstration video.
