The motor module home is on github here:
https://github.com/epics-modules/motor
If you click on "13 releases" you will see that the most recent release is R6-9, there is no 6-10 yet.
If you look at the top-level Makefile you will see that the lines to build motorExApp are commented out. You need to uncomment those lines. Once you do that, and if ASYN is defined in your motor/configure/RELEASE file then it should build bot WithAsyn and NoAsyn.

Subject: motor6-10
Hi everyone,
I install synapps5_8 in centos7(64) with 3.14.15.2.
When I type the command "../../bin/linux-x86-64/" in ${synapps}/motor6_9/iocboot/iocWithAsyn , I press TAB after "../../bin/linux-x86_64",I got the choice of motorSim, XPSGathering2,XPSGatheringMani. It did not have the choice of WithAsyn and NoAsyn.
Why it happen? I mean that when I typed "../../bin/linux-x86_64" in motor file I could get others except WithAsyn and NoAsyn.
And asyn module was good, I make it again , no error.
Anoter question, What is the website of motor 6-10? I only found the motor 6-9.
Regards,
Liangyaxiang
