Could you be more specific about the version?  "3.14" spans a decade+.
The RSRV server has supported array size changes since 3.14.12.

Unfortunately the PCAS server does not handle notification of array size
changes.  The API of the GDD container does not distinguish capacity
from current size.  So far no one has found a good way to extend gdd in
a backwards compatible way.

Perhaps you could elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish?
