like WildFly?

I haven't heard of a production deployment with another app server but this was originally targeted at Tomcat and Glassfish. I don't think there is anything Tomcat specific in the main tar.gz; so you should be able to deploy on other containers. The unit tests however do assume a Tomcat deployment. Please let me know if you want to attempt deployment on other containers and I can help out.

There are two ways of doing this; one is to continue to use PB marshalling but to store the chunks elsewhere using NIO2. The other alternative it to use a different time-series DB altogether (like what you are looking for). Please let me know offline if you are interested and I can point you to the interfaces you'd need to implement.
