Your first message showed that make was trying to invoke ‘mex’. This is not proper for octave. The shell script I sent arranges for make to run the mkoctfile utility that is appropriate for octave. Make sure too that your octave executables are on your shell search path: enorum 205> type octave mkoctfile octave is /usr/bin/octave mkoctfile is /usr/bin/mkoctfile
What commands are you running? It sounds like you tried running ‘make’ again — this is incorrect. You should run the script which will set things up as required by octave and then run make. Please send the entire set of commands you are running and the resulting output.
It doesn't work for me. I'm still getting same error..
