Hi Sajid,

I am not familiar with the "boplc" tool that you are using, so I cannot explain the warning that you are seeing.

However, I took the plcdb.db file that you sent and loaded into my IOC application. It seems to load fine.

Note that the 2 records are loaded, and there was no error or warning from dbLoadRecords. There is an error because it cannot find the asyn port A0_Out_Bits, but that is expected since I have not created that port in my startup script. The output of dbpr shows that the boplc record correctly connected to the bi1 record, since it shows it as a database link, not a disconnected Channel Access link.

So I think your database is OK and you can ignore the warning.

Mark

Subject: Required help about mobbus tcp module

Dear rivers
i have just started working in epics. i am using its modbus tcp module for
accessing plc it works well.i have plc simulator when i access that with modbus tcp
module using epics it works well. i am facing a problem that i want to write a output
on coil register at index 0. i have designed simple boplc block for this puprpose it works well.
i want to give input signal to boplc record from bi1 recrod. for this i give the name of bi1 in the
DOL filed of boplc record. it make the connection but give the "warning message that Desired Output loc: warninig :bi1 doesnot match the pattern @.*"
when i load the database it loaded successfully but when i change signal value of bi1 it change sucessfully but did not shift to boplc recrod.
can you please help how to shift bi1 record value to boplc recrod. i have attached snaps of database record field.
for simple records when we are not using any device support we can shift value one record to other record just by giving name in DOL field.
wait for yor reply
best regards
sajid
