Also I noticed if I use caput to
write a value through ca gateway, like following:
geyang@cow1:~# caput inet:setai 5
Old : inet:setai 6
New : inet:setai 6
although the value was written
correctly, but the display is not as common here. Anyone notice
this?
Hi Geyang,
For write access through a GW to work, two layers of access
security have to be configured correctly:
- The GW has to allow write access from the external client -
this is done in the GW's access file.
- The IOC has to allow write access from the GW - this is done
in the IOC's access security file.
The command line tool "cainfo" shows the current access rights
for a client.
Can you run "cainfo inet:setai" on cow1? What access rights does
it show?
Cheers,
~Ralph
