Check the PVManager functions.
There’s something like pv(‘name of PV’) for that.
In a PVManager formula, you can use (note the backquotes)
=`name of PV` + 5

You can use “sim:ramp” as a PV that periodically triggers your script.
So it’s still a PV, but one that’s simulated inside CSS.
