Hi Nick, and all,

I note that SKA tested a number of control system toolkits...http://www.tango-controls.org/community/news/2015/04/15/ska-choose-tango/. Do you know if EPICS was in the mix, if so I wonder what the lessons learned would be?

All,

I have been on the EPICS mailing list for over 21 years - my first post was September 1994, but it is now time to sign off because next week I start work as Head of Software and Computing at the Square Kilometre Array and, for some reason, they appear to have adopted Tango.

I have really enjoyed my time, and hope to run into you all at various times so it is au revoir, rather than good bye,
