Hello Rolf
We are running a web based alarm handler. We implemented it on Windows in C# using our .NET EPICS library. We are running it clustered on two nodes using a central database. We actively
monitor if the service is alive and also use a “watchdog” process on each node to automate restarting in case of problems.
Here’s a screenshot, if you care:
Cheers,
DJ

Subject: alarm handler
I would be interested to know if anyone in the non-Control-System-Studio
world uses/has an alarm handler other than the motif-based alh.
Thanks - rolf -
