I have seen people proposing MGCplus from HBM: http://www.hbm.com/en/2261/mgcplus-modular-data-acquisition-system/Don't know if I would like that solution, though. EPICS integration is not clear.
(Many ITER systems are still in their early design phase.) Cheers, ~Ralph On 15/10/2015 00:30, Michael Davidsaver wrote:
All, I've been asked for advise on finding a digitizer for a fast thermometry application (RTDs). The desire is for a sampling range in the range of 50-100 KSPS with 16-bit resolution over +-10 V. There will be ~200 channels in total, so I think a high density solution would be appropriate. Pre-existing epics support is of course a plus. The first solution to come to my mind is industry pack. Something like the hytec IP-VAD-8418. What options are available for this "middle" speed range? Thanks, Michael
