Hi Michael

We have got few of DMK23GV024 mono and DFK23GV024 with bayer-pattern.
As far as I can say, the company sticks with Genicam standard which makes the cameras compatible with Aravis library.

Not in a production system, however following setup works great:
* Areadetector 1.9.x from synApps 5.7
* aravisGigE-0-1-15dls6 from DLS controls
* Aravis library & tools version 0.2.3

Its not recent version but fits to our EPICS base.

Nice tools on that github. With the Aravis version, I mentioned above, a generic GigE vision camera source for GStreamer comes too. It is doable to have a nice GStreamer chain for live feed. 

I some prebuilt IOCs somewhere on my laptop.

Hi Michael,

we already have exchanged a Prosilica camera GC650 on our machine
with a DFM 25GX236-ML from theimagesource.

The DFM is controlled with the aravis-Lib and areadetector.

End of next week I will try to give a report …
