Subject:	EPICS base-3.14.12.5 installation error

Hi,

I'm attempting to compile EPICS base 3.14.12.5 onto my Windows 8 laptop.

However, during compilation I receive the following error:

perl ../../../bin/windows-x64/registerRecordDeviceDriver.pl ../O.Common/softIoc.

dbd softIoc_registerRecordDeviceDriver C:/epics/base-3.14.12.5 > softIoc.tmp

Can't open perl script "../../../bin/windows-x64/registerRecordDeviceDriver.pl":

No such file or directory

make[3]: *** [softIoc_registerRecordDeviceDriver.cpp] Error 2

make[3]: Leaving directory `C:/epics/base-3.14.12.5/src/softIoc/O.windows-x64'

make[2]: *** [install.windows-x64] Error 2

make[2]: Leaving directory `C:/epics/base-3.14.12.5/src/softIoc'

make[1]: *** [softIoc.install] Error 2

make[1]: Leaving directory `C:/epics/base-3.14.12.5/src'

make: *** [src.install] Error 2

Although 'registerRecordDeviceDriver.pl' is not being recognized, I've confirmed that the file does exist and the path is consistent.

I've tried the following to no success:

- using Strawberry Perl and ActivePerl

- attempting a static build vs a dynamic build

Any direction is appreciated!
