Hmm... I added printStatus in 2.6.4.

Don't mind. It is just some debugging stuff.

Maybe I should update the version on the web. :-)

Apart from that, with the line 356 commented out, I've changed the
protocol to use %s and I don't get the null character anymore.  :)
