indeed it is for a N1471A.

My user.subsitutions contains the following definition:

file "db/CaenNIM_HV_USB.db" {
	pattern { experiment, institute, ps, channel, interface }
		{ "SISTRIP", "HZDR", 0, 0, "caenNIM_HV"}
		{ "SISTRIP", "HZDR", 0, 1, "caenNIM_HV"}
}

I was pointed to your code by a colleague and tried to compile it, but it 
fails installing the protocol file.
