Sounds familiar. I'll try that. I have had that issue with other
programs. I think Ubuntu sets it pretty small by default.

I built medm-3.1.9 on Ubuntu 14.04-LTS and just managed to get a SIGSEGV
from it when playing around with User Specified, but couldn't replicate
it yet when running under gdb.
