I'm using medm 3.1.5 and base 3.14.12 on RHEL5_64.
I don't have a problem with the "up" direction on the bar.
When I set PV limits to default or user - I do get the SIGSEGV bomb.
I don't get the SIGSEGV on our old machine, running medm 3.1.2 and Solaris9 machine.
Selecting user limits in edit mode seems to be unchangeable.

This is with medm-3.1.9 and epics base-3.14.12.4 on Ubuntu 14.10.
Anyone else having problems?
