Hi,
on POSIX machines we can run a PTP client of our choice that
synchronizes the OS clock and let general time get the time from the OS.
On a single-board computer running RTEMS this is a different story:
RTEMS does not seem to support IEEE 1588. Is PTP support for EPICS
available? Can anyone share some experience on this?
Thanks,
Martin
P.S.: The precision we are shooting for is ~100 us so a pure software
implementation should do the job.
