You should download the EPICS synApps tar file:

/http://www.aps.anl.gov/bcda/synApps/

The xxx module in synApps is an example of how to integrate many modules to produce an IOC that has asyn, sscan, and many other modules.  sscan depends on some other synApps modules.

Subject: ioc sscan?

Hi all,

   Sorry to ask a simple question, I try to use sscan, I want to know how to build the ioc of sscan.

   The detail is:  I build the IOC with "$ASYN/bin/$EPICS_HOST_ARCH/makeSupport.pl -t streamSCPI HPE3631A", if I use  asyn stream module. But how could I do the same thing when I use sscan module.
