I would like to announce pythonIoc version 2.9. This is a tool designed for building and running complex IOCs entirely in Python, and has been in use at Diamond for quite a few years now.
The main change in this release is switching from using the IOC builder library to epicsdbbuilder for building the IOC database, this should make the tool much easier to use from outside the Diamond environment.
