Try editing medm/Makefile. Maybe you need to add SM to the list of
libraries somewhere (after Xt), maybe in line 168:
USR_LIBS_Linux = Xm Xt Xp Xmu X11 Xext SM
For me, it works without SM and adding it breaks the build, but you
never know... :-)
