Dear forum members
Thank you very much for the many interesting answers.
I like in particular the idea to use inetd to start the python script,
because this would leave "control" inside the ioc server (which should
also serve other PVs).
Setting up an own python CA-server, as also discussed, is also an
interesting option in general, but in this particular case i would like
to stay with a single CA-server for all PVs.
