EPICS can be built with clang (I have tested that on both Mac and
Linux), you just have to configure it properly. If new versions of
FreeBSD now use clang by default then we should change the freebsd files
in configure/os to assume that; you may be our only FreeBSD user at the
moment though, so you're going to have to help me with the changes that
are needed.
