Well the module is now built and usable, it’s just the example IOC that is failing. In the iocs/example/exampleApp/Db/Makefile there is a PATH:= directive,
you could try adding the path to msi in here and see if it helps...

I just deleted the protocol directory... it gets further but now fails at it cannot find msi although it is installed on the PATH...

I'm currently having issues with installing adPython 0.2 for AreaDetector (R1.9) on Ubuntu (12.04). All I did was 1) download the plugin 2) edit the RELEASE to the relevant path
of my system 3), type make at the top level.... but the build just stop when entering the adPythonApp/protocol giving me the error "No rule to make target 'install'"
It's probably something silly, but I cannot find what's wrong.... anyone seen this error before or has experience with installing this plugin?
