You should check line 116 of WriteThread.java to see what's null.

But to do that, you need to use your version of the sources, since you have a modified version of the source code.
In the current version of WriteThread, the start() method only spreads lines ~90 .. 100 (https://github.com/ControlSystemStudio/cs-studio/blob/master/applications/plugins/org.csstudio.archive.engine/src/org/csstudio/archive/engine/model/WriteThread.java )
