You did not provide much information about your setup, for example if it
is a 32-bit or 64-bit environment. I doubt there is 64-bit version of
LabView 8.2, and 'long unsigned int' hints towards 64-bits.
Your compiler and compiled EPICS libraries should probably be 32-bit ones.
