Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi all,
I am new to LabView and CaLab.
I want to use CaLab with an already existing VI application in-order to access the variables via EPICS for alarming purposes. I have a central EPICS alarm handler where I monitor all other detector sub-systems. And I plan to use the same alarm handler for this purpose.
The current VI application runs on LabView8.2. Therefore I downloaded CaLab version 1.2.1.5 and tried installing it to get the following errors.
===>
[root@ppdaq1 V.1.2.1.5]# g++ -fPIC -I /usr/local/epics/R3.14.12.4/include/ -I /usr/local/epics/R3.14.12.4/include/os/Linux/ -I /usr/local/natinst/LabVIEW-8.2/cintools -I /usr/local/CaLab/V.1.2.1.5/ -L /usr/local/epics/R3.14.12.4/lib/linux-x86/ -lca -lCom -shared caLab_dll.cpp -o calab.so
caLab_dll.cpp: In function ‘void postEvent(PV*)’:
caLab_dll.cpp:333: error: invalid conversion from ‘long unsigned int’ to ‘MagicCookie_t*’
caLab_dll.cpp:333: error: initializing argument 1 of ‘MgErr PostLVUserEvent(MagicCookie_t*, void*)’
===>
Have anybody seen this before? Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you.
