EPICSQt version 3.0.0 (QE Framework) has been released and is available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/epicsqt

 

Enhancements and bug fixes are listed in the release notes, and include the following:

 

The licensing has changed to GNU LGPL to better conform to Australian Synchrotron intellectual property policy: ...rights should be granted to ‘maximises impact, value, accessibility and benefit with the public interest, while upholding the law and managing risk appropriately’.

 

Enhancements and bug fixes have been made to the data sub-system and the following widgets:

ScratchPad, Form, ArchiveNameSearch, PvProperties, Histogram, ScalarHistogram, Image, StripChart, Plotter, Table, SimpleShape, Label, Buttons, ResizeableFrame, NumericEdit, BitStatus, RadioGroup, BitStatus.

 

Saving and restoring configurations has been improved.

 

Performance has been improved with changes to file monitoring, threading, and array processing.

 

Variable name searching is available based the archiver database.

 

Changes have been made to make the framework easier to use within custom applications, including new demo application - QEWidgetDisplayApp.
