Subject: Can pvTimeGetCurrentDouble fail to set its argument?

In the sequencer there is one place where I assume that
pvTimeGetCurrentDouble(&timeNow) will initialize the timeNow variable. Are
there conditions under which this may not be the case?

Cheers
Ben
