At the 2013 ICALEPCS meeting, someone from RIKEN (.jp) had a poster in
which he described using nodejs as part of an interface.
I was not able to replicate the nodejs part (easily) as nodejs, itself,
was rapidly evolving, and the plugin worked best with an older nodejs
version.
I'd expect this to be the strongest candidate path, nevertheless.
