I want to make people aware of a mailing  list that has been set up for people interested in areaDetector development.

Although the mailing list title has the string “pvdata” in it, the topics are not restricted to EPICS V4 issues.  It is intended for technical discussion of future developments of the areaDetector module in general.

 

There was a workshop held on future directions of areaDetector at the Diamond Light Source last week.  Links to the presentation, and a task list and a roadmap for the future can be found here:

Questions and problems relating to the current version of areaDetector should continue to be sent to tech-talk.
