Dear Mark,

With reference to this link http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/tech-talk/2013/msg02098.php , I have also similar situation when I disconnect the connection to PLC (connected through IPPort driver) in my asyn s7 plc driver I got below messages on IOC as I pass asynDisconnected in all read() functions.

devAsynInt32 process read error

devAsynInt32 process read error

devAsynFloat64 process read error

devAsynUInt32Digital::process read error

“              “

“              ”

So passing below will help to avoid this messages on IOC in case of disconnection…? Or is there any method to do the same..? as in many error situation I have to break the connection with PLC.

pasynUser->auxStatus = asynError;

return(asynSuccess);

Thanks for your support,

Best regards,

Jignesh
