There was a previous thread on TechTalk which discussed PICAM on a 64-bit environment in December 2013, subject "PIXIS pvCam and 64 bit". There was a reply to say it was being worked on.

We have PIXIS detectors running with PVCAM under 32-bit Windows on Diamond beamlines and there are proposals to purchase further PIXIS detectors.
So we are also interested to know the current prognosis for support for PICAM and areaDetector to get an upgrade path to 64 bit.
