Hello,
I am trying to setup a webopi on Debian 7.6 following the instructions:
http://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/ControlSystemStudio/cs-studio/blob/master/applications/plugins/org.csstudio.opibuilder.rap/html/WebOPI.htmlAfter I installed tomcat7, I can see the tomcat7 works:
However, I can't make the webopi works. Here is what I got:
The steps I took are:
1. Download webopi.war from
http://ics-web.sns.ornl.gov/css/products.html2. cp webopi.war /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/apps#webopi.war
3. chown tomcat7.tomcat7 /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/apps#webopi.war
4. In /var/lib/tomcat7/conf/catalina.properties, add line at the end of the file:
org.csstudio.rap.preference=/home/tom/css-workspace/css_rap.ini
5. create and edit: /home/tom/css-workspace/css_rap.ini. I comment out most of the options in the instructions and only have the following left:
#---------------EPICS configuration-----------------------
org.csstudio.platform.libs.epics/auto_addr_list=false
org.csstudio.platform.libs.epics/use_pure_java=true
org.csstudio.platform.libs.epics/addr_list=127.0.0.1 192.168.1.2
org.csstudio.platform.libs.epics/max_array_bytes=160000
#---------------WebOPI configuration----------------------
org.csstudio.opibuilder/opi_repository=/home/tom/css-workspace/CSS
org.csstudio.opibuilder/startup_opi=Top.opi
org.csstudio.opibuilder/mobile_startup_opi=Top.opi
org.csstudio.opibuilder/color_file=color.def
org.csstudio.opibuilder/font_file=font.def
And when I used the following url
http://192.168.2.57:8080/apps/webopior
http://localhost:8080/app/webopiI got the http 404 status error (webopi resource not available) error.
Please help me on this. I don't know which step is wrong. I also tries to download webopi3.3.war and got the similar error.
I noticed in the webopi download page, the redhat liniux is supported. Can webopi run on Debian also ? My java version is "1.6.0_32".
Thank you so much,
-Tom
