Dear Emma,
these are ISEG power supplys. Depending on the interface type (USB, Serial or
CAN bus), you need different methodes to access them. For the USB interface,
you just need an protocol file for the streamdev suppoprt of the asyn driver,
for the serial interface you need to use an asynPortDriver, due to the very
slow speed of the interface. For the CAN bus you need a special interface from
PEAK, as the ISEG CAN bus devices are hard to get working with other CAN
interfaces.
For the USB or the serial interface I can send you my code which supports the
full functionality. Note that these devices do not have internal ramping, so
this has to be done via sequenzers on the IOC side, if needed, which I do not
have yet.
