These should not be set as environment variables, they should be defined in the configure/RELEASE file of your application.

Subject: stream device get started?

Hello all,

So I have used stream device successfully before on linux-x86_64 arch. I decided to try in on win32-x86 specifically win xp (base-3-14-12-4 complied with strawberry perl, MS Visual studio 2009, GnuMake and using stream-2-6 and asyn-4-23) Everything compiled successfully, however when I try to make the device support module, following the guidelines proposed in the How to Guide for Stream (http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/modules/soft/asyn/HowToDoSerial_StreamDevice.html), I get the following error:

C:\Epics\extensions\IPL\Keithley\K2410>%ASYN%\bin\%EPICS_HOST_ARCH%\makeSupport.
pl -t streamSCPI K2410
expected 'makeSupport.pl', got 'C:\Epics\support\asyn-4-23\bin\win32-x86\makeSup
port.pl<http://port.pl>'
expected 'expected win32-x86', got ''
expected 'bin', got ''
: No such file or directory at C:\Epics\support\asyn-4-23\bin\win32-x86\makeSupp
ort.pl<http://ort.pl> line 51.

I get the same error when I try makeSupport.pl -l to list all template types.
It might be a path error on my side, but I can't seem to figure it out.

EPICS_HOST_ARCH env var is set and so is ASYN.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

Regards,
Alireza Panna
