Subject: Areadetector IOC for Pilatus

I'm setting up a new Pilatus 3R 200K-A detector. The Dectris runtvx utility communicates properly with the detector, and camserver responds to telnet commands. I'm trying to use epics, which is installed on the computer controlling the detector. I'm running areadetector 1.9.1 straight out of the box; I changed only the hostname and the detector XSIZE.


There is some communication between camserver and areadetector, but PVs such as 13PIL1:cam1:ArraySizeY_RBV​ are not found. I'm a novice with epics, and I don't know what to make of the "unexpected response" and "illegal exposure period" diagnostics.
