4 bytes per pixel. That assumes you have set the waveform record to have FTVL=LONG, which would normally be the case.

I’m using areaDetector to run a Pilatus 2K with 198,209 pixels and 20-bit dynamic range. What value should I use for EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES? That is, does each pixel use 4 bytes or 20 bits?
