Subject: how to install medm on ubuntu14.04

Hi,
 
I want to use 'areadetector' to control 'Prosilica GC750' camera for the first time. when I install 'medm' on ubuntu14.04 on my computer, it can't make successfully, the err as follows: 
    /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/libX11.a(CrGlCur.o): undefined reference to symbol 'dlopen@@GLIBC_2.1'
    //lib/i386-linux-gnu/libdl.so.2: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line
    collect2: error:ld returned 1 exit status
    make[2]: ***[medm] Error 1
    make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/epics/extensions.src/medm3-1-9/medm/o.linux-x86'

I don't know how to fix it, could you give me some advice on it? or if I use CSS, how to run areadetector and CSS? thanks very much!!
