Han,

we run a similiar system here at the FHI FEL.
It is our HV Gun Control.

IOC is running on a debian-VM connected to the ethernet.
Using asynDrv and StreamDevice2

A Moxa NPort 6450 (4 Ports) on "ground-level"

3 Power supplies (floated to HV) are connected to the Moxa serial ports via Moxa Fibre-Connectors (TCF-90)

1.) Agilent E3634A as current source
2.) Delta as Voltage Source (200V)
3.) Sorensen as Voltage Source (80 - 120V)

2 Spellman HV-Powersupplies (SL-Model, 50kV and 20 kV). These devices are equipped with an Digital Interface (SIC) which provides
ethernet (we are using) and RS-232 on ground level.

Best regards,
Heinz
