Hello,
In the past 4 years, we have used 13 ICS 8065 and Agilent E5810A Ethernet/GPIB converters. Among them 6 have failed (stopped working). After some failed, we made sure that a power surge protector was installed for each of these devices; but that measure does not seem to be able to totally prevent the issue from happening. There have been 1 or 2 failures after the power surge protectors installed. We don't know the cause of these failures yet. I was wondering if the other sites that have been using these kind of devices had the same issue and had found the cause of the failure and the solution to it?
