This type of instrument will be rather hard to test using a simple terminal program.  Lots of non-ASCII characters to type.
But it shouldn’t be too hard to write support using StreamDevice.  
In particular, StreamDevice makes it easy to generate the simple ‘XOR’ check byte that the Siemens USS protocol requires.

Or, perhaps someone has already written an ASYN interpose interface to handle the USS protocol?

 It uses USS protocol.. I got a signal hexacode... I attached the document.
